SCOTT WIEPRECHT
Scott trained professionally at stage school before gaining a 2:1 BA Honours Degree in Performing Arts at Dartington College of Arts. For the final part of his Degree, Scott designed and operated lighting for an award winning show which was transferred to the Battersea Arts Centre 'The Thing'.
Scott learnt his lighting skills locally having 'hit the ground running' with the first Stage Stars show. He quickly mastered basic lighting and soon moved on to break-through technology. Having got to grips with DMX lighting Scott finally began designing with 'intelligent lighting' and was one of the first in the South West to work with and promote USB DMX technology.
Scott has since gone on to light shows for a variety of local amateur groups but is also no stranger to lighting for professional productions. Scott famously designed the lighting for a show called 'blob' which features over 100 fixtures including 22 Mac 500's. The lighting design was highly exclaimed and his designs, along with show show went on to tour Japan.
