Noah has had two stints as staff at Stage Stars, both during his late teens as student support and tech, and then again since 2021 after returning for his training at RADA.

Noah Bottrell

Noah is a theatre professional with a passion for creativity, collaboration, and helping young people discover their confidence through performance. He trained in Technical Theatre and Stage Management at Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), where he specialised in Props. During his training he developed a strong foundation in practical theatre-making, problem solving, and the attention to detail that brings productions to life behind the scenes.

Since graduating, Noah has worked across a variety of professional productions and creative projects. His theatre credits include work on major shows such as Kinky Boots and Bat Out of Hell, where he gained valuable experience in fast-paced production environments and high-quality stagecraft. These opportunities strengthened his technical skills while also reinforcing his love for the collaborative spirit that makes theatre so special.

Alongside his theatre work, Noah has also explored creative projects in other media. He has designed and built podcast set environments for productions including See It Off and The Antisocial Podcast, combining visual storytelling with practical construction skills. This variety of experience has allowed him to develop a flexible, imaginative approach to design and making, which he brings into all his work.

Noah is currently employed as a scenery maker at Theatre Royal Plymouth, where he helps create sets for professional productions. Working in a producing theatre has given him insight into the full journey of a show, from concept through to performance, and continues to expand his technical knowledge and craftsmanship. His connection to Stage Stars is particularly meaningful.

Noah was a student with the company from the age of 12, and credits that experience with helping shape both his confidence and his career path. Being part of a supportive creative community at a young age allowed him to explore theatre in a safe, encouraging environment, and ultimately inspired him to pursue the industry professionally.

Now, returning as part of the team, Noah is passionate about giving young performers the same positive experience he had. He values the welcoming atmosphere, the sense of belonging, and the opportunity Stage Stars provides for children and young adults to express themselves, build friendships, and develop life skills through theatre. He believes that participation in the arts can have a lasting impact, whether students continue into the industry or simply gain confidence that supports them in other areas of life.

Noah is proud to remain connected to the Stage Stars community and enjoys helping the next generation of performers discover their creativity, confidence, and love of theatre.
